5.5. Fridericia triplinervia (Martius ex De Candolle 1845:153) Lohmann in Lohmann & Taylor (2014: 446) (Figs. 6 e–f, 7 f).
Diagnosis:— Fridericia triplinervia can be recognized by the pocket domatia on the abaxial side of leaflets adaxially, and by the tubular calyx (vs. campanulate in F. florida, F. mutabilis, and F. samydoides; cupular in F. chica).
Reproductive Period:— Flowers were collected in February and March, no fruiting data.
Distribution and Habitat:— It occurs in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay (Lohmann 2010, Lohmann & Taylor 2014). Within the study area, it was registered in Foz do Iguaçu and Matelândia (new occurrence for the ParNa Iguaçu), and in the PARNA Iguazú .
