8.1. Mansoa difficilis (Chamisso 1832: 714) Bureau & Schumann in Von Martius & Eichler (1896: 201) (Fig. 10 d–e).
Diagnosis:— Mansoa difficilis can be distinguished by the striated bark, and extrafloral nectaries close to the leaflet veins abaxially.
Reproductive Period:— Flowers were collected in February, June, September, October, and November, fruiting in October.
Distribution and Habitat:— It occurs in Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina (Lohmann 2010, Lohmann & Taylor 2014). Within the study area, it was registered in Céu Azul, Matelândia/Serranópolis, Capanema, Foz do Iguaçu, and in the PARNA Iguazú .
