Holotype ♀ with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “Baixo Guandu, E S. [State of Espírito Santo, Brazil] | x.1970 | P.C. Elias col.”; (2) handwritten on red paper: “ Auloceromyia | pedunculata | ♀ | HOLÓTIPO”.
Condition of type. Missing parts: flagellomeres of left antenna; left mid leg and hind legs, except coxae; left halter and abdomen.
Paratype ♀ with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “Baixo Guandu, E S. [State of Espírito Santo, Brazil] | x.1970 | P.C. Elias col.”; (2) handwritten on red paper: “ Auloceromyia | pedunculata | ♀ PARÁTIPO”.
Condition of type. Missing parts: antennae; proboscis; all legs, except for coxae and left hind leg; right wing.
