Holotype ♂ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “S. Paulo [State of São Paulo, Brazil] | Juquiá | F. Lane | I.950 [i.1950] [in vertical position]”; (2) printed on white paper: “23.767”; (3) printed on white paper: “♂”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ Chrysochlorina costalimai | HOLOTYPUS | det. Paulo Iide, 1964 ”.

Condition of type. Missing parts: antennae and wings, except one wing (left or right unknown) slide mounted, kept with the specimen.
