Habitats. Subtropical rocky reefs and tropical coral bommies.
Occurrences. Zavora and Mozambique Island.
Geographic distribution. Western Indian Ocean. Seychelles (Gosliner & Johnson 1994) and Mozambique. Online records of specimens of similar appearance exist for Marshall Islands, suggesting a range extention and Indo-Pacific distribution (In-Depth Images Kwajalein 2013).
