Material examined. Two specimens. MB28-004552, ZA 51, 27 May 2012, 12m, 10mm; MB28-004906, MIF, 11 Jun. 2014, 3m, 7mm.

Habitats. Subtropical rocky reefs and tropical coral bommies.

Occurrences. Zavora and Mozambique Island.

Geographic distribution. Western Indian Ocean. Seychelles (Gosliner & Johnson 1994) and Mozambique. Online records of specimens of similar appearance exist for Marshall Islands, suggesting a range extention and Indo-Pacific distribution (In-Depth Images Kwajalein 2013).
