Description. ♀ (Figs 24A, B). Fully winged; body length 2.3–2.6 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus testaceous (in ♀ from South Africa, 32°57.732’S 18°05.985’E, clypeus black); antenna of holotype testaceous, except antennomeres 7–10 brown; antenna of ♀ paratype brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs of holotype testaceous; legs of ♀ paratype testaceous, except coxae and clubs of meso- and metafemora partly brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres of holotype in following proportions: 8.5:5:8:6:5:4. 5:4.5:4.5:4:6; antennomeres of ♀ paratype in following proportions: 8:5:8.5:6:5:5:4.5:4:4:5. Head of holotype dull, almost completely sculptured by irregular longitudinal keels, except small punctate area in front of anterior ocellus; head of ♀ paratype shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; sides of frons, temple and vertex behind ocellar triangle slightly or strongly rugose or sculptured by irregular keels; frontal line complete; frons without lateral keels; occipital carina complete. In ♀ from Madagascar, 20°47.56’S 47°10.54’E, head dull, with frons granulate and sculp- tured by many irregular longitudinal keels; vertex and temple granulate and reticulate rugose. Head of holotype with POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 7; OPL = 4; TL = 10; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than OL (2:3). Head of ♀ paratype with POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 7.5; OPL = 5; TL = 9; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than OL (2.5:3). Pronotum very short, transverse, reticulate rugose; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum punctate, unsculptured among punctures, rugose near anterior margin. In ♀ from Madagascar, 20°47.56’S 47°10.54’E, mesoscutum with anterior half granulate and rugose and posterior half punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.6 × length of mesoscutum (0.5 × in ♀ from Madagascar, 20°47.56’S 47°10.54’E). Mesoscutellum and metanotum finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (10: 7 in the holotype; 8.5: 8 in ♀ paratype). Protarsomeres of holotype in following proportions: 11:2:3:4.5:10.5; protarsomeres of paratype in following proportions: 11:2.5:2.5:5:11. Enlarged claw (Fig. 27F) with 1 small subapical tooth, without bristles or setae. Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 27F) with one row of 26–31 lamellae; apex with about 7–12 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
♂. Fully winged; body length 2.1–2.8 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous (in 2♂♂ from South Africa, 32°58.611’S 18°06.976’E and 33°37.622’S 18°24.259’E, clypeus testaceous); antenna brown; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, occasionally with protibia and protarsus testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:4:6.5:7:6:5.5:5:5:4.5:5.5. Antennomere 9 about twice as long as broad: 4.5:2.2. Head shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; sides of frons, temple and vertex behind ocellar triangle usually slightly rugose or sculptured by irregular keels (occasionally smooth, not rugose, not sculptured by irregular keels); frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 6; OPL = 5; TL = 8; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than OL (2.5:3). In ♂ from South Africa, 32°57.732’S 18°05.985’E, frons punctate and slightly granulate among punctures. Pronotum very short, transverse, rugose. Mesoscutum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, slightly rugose near anterior margin. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.6 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (11:7). Genitalia in Fig. 29C. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
