Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 1.7–1.9 mm. Head testaceous (in ♀ from Yemen, Ta’izz, head totally whitish); antenna brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous (in ♀ from Yemen, Ta’izz, antenna totally whit- ish); prothorax, mesoscutum, mesoscutellum, mesopleuron and part of metapleuron testaceous; metanotum brown; metapectal-propodeal disc black; in specimen from Yemen, Ta’izz, mesosoma completely whitish, except brown spot on metapectal-propodeal disc and small brown spot on anterior margin of metanotum; metasoma brown (in specimen from Yemen, Ta’izz, metasoma totally whitish); legs testaceous (in specimen from Yemen, Ta’izz, legs totally whitish). Specimen from Madagascar, 21°13.67’S 47°22.19’E, completely testaceous, except metapectalpropodeal disc darkened, petiole black and metasoma brown. Specimen from Kenya, 4.57776°S 39.43825°E, with head testaceous, except occiput brown and brown spot between ocelli; antenna brown, except antennomeres 1–3 testaceous; mesosoma testaceous, except dorsal region of propleuron, anterior surface of mesoscutum, mesoscutellum, metanotum and metapectal-propodeal disc brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 5.5:5:6:6:6:5:4:4:4:6. Head dull, granulate; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 3.5; TL = 3. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 × length of mesoscutum; in ♀ from Yemen, Ta’izz, notauli slightly distinct, apparently reaching approximately 0.8 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum dull, granulate. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity with two longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; 2r-rs&Rs vein regularly curved. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

♂ (Figs 17C, D). Fully winged ( Figs 11C, 15C); body length 1.4–1.8 mm. In holotype head and mesoscutum completely testaceous, antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 5–10 darkened, metanotum and metapectal-propodeal disc brown-reddish, metasoma brown, legs testaceous. In ♂ from Tanzania, Amani Malaria Station, head and mesosoma dull and completely testaceous-reddish, except clypeus yellow. In ♂ from Yemen, Ta’izz, colour whit- ish, except mesoscutum centrally and laterally brown, metapectal-propodeal disc laterally testaceous and medially brown, metasoma brown, with anterior third yellow and petiole black. In ♂ from Yemen, Ta’izz, colour whitish, except mesoscutellum centrally darkened, metanotum, metapectal-propodeal disc and metasoma brown. Antenna filiform; antennomeres of holotype in following proportions: 2.5:4:4:5:4.5:5:4.5:5:5:7. Head dull, granulate; head of holotype slightly shiny; frontal line of holotype apparently absent (track visible); in ♂ from Tanzania, Amani Ma- laria Station, frontal line distinctly visible in anterior half of frons (face of this specimen very dull); occipital carina complete; POL = 4; OL = 3; OOL = 3; OPL = 2; TL = 2. Mesoscutum dull, granulate (shiny in holotype). Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 × length of mesoscutum in holotype; in ♂ from Tanzania, Amani Malaria Station, notauli reaching approximately 0.3 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; 2r-rs&Rs vein regularly curved. Basivolsella with 2 subdistal bristles (Fig. 13D). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
