Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 7.0 mm (according to the original description). The holotype is a speci- men in very bad conditions: the mesosoma is completely missing. According to the original description, colour black, except mouthparts, antennomere 1 and legs brown (except meso- and metacoxa black).

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toamasina, Périnet, III.1935, east coast forest, Ol- soufieff leg. (MNHN) .
Hosts. Unknown.
Distribution. Madagascar.
Remarks. The original description is not sufficient to permit identification of this species, or to include it in the key to the ♀♀ of the Afrotropical region. It is inevitable that it has to be included among the incertae sedis species.
