Description. ♂ (Figs 160A, B). Fully winged; body length 2.1–3.5 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus and anterior half of frons testaceous; antenna testaceous-dark; mesosoma brown, except pronotum and small area behind hind tegula testaceous (in paratype, small area behind fore tegula and hind tegula testaceous); metasoma brown; legs testaceous. In large specimens (more than 3.0 mm) from Kenya, 4.32664°S 39.52462°E, head testaceous-ferruginous, except transverse brown band on vertex and ocellar region; antenna testaceous-ferruginous; mesosoma testaceous-ferruginous, except posterior surface of median region of mesoscutum brown, mesoscutellum and metanotum black, mesoaxilla black (in specimen from Democratic Republic of the Congo, 04°16’S 17°11’E, mesosoma totally brown); metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:6:7:9:11:11:10:9:8:10. Head shiny, convex, punctate and granulate; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 2; OOL = 4.5; OPL = 0.5; TL = 2; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli as long as TL. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.7–0.8 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum granulate and punctate. Metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without strong transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with tracks of two median longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (18:13). Inner side of paramere without mosaic sculpture (Fig. 159D). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
