Madecadryinus opacus Olmi 2007c: 25; Azevedo et al. 2010: 885.

Description. ♀ (Fig. 257B). Apterous; body length 1.4 mm. Head black, except clypeus and mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black, except anterior margin of apparent pronotum testaceous; metasoma brown, except apex testaceous; legs testaceous. Antenna (Fig. 257B) clavate, thickened; antennomeres of holotype in following proportions: 8:3:1.5:3:3:3:3:3.5:3.5:6; antennomeres 1 and 10 longer than broad; antennomeres 3–9 as broad as long (length/breadth ratio of antennomere 9 in lateral view: 3.5:3.5; antennomere 6 as long as broad (3:3)); antennomere 2 approximately as long as broad; ADOs present in antennomeres 4–10; antennal toruli contiguous with lateral margins of clypeus. Head rectangular in dorsal view, less broad than long (18:22), dull, covered with short and fine setae, granulate; vertex of head slightly convex; frons very convex; eye (Fig. 258C) very small, much shorter than head (4: 22 in dorsal view); ocelli absent; occipital carina distinct, complete on dorsal region of head, but incomplete on lateral regions of head; frontal line absent; mandible with three teeth; clypeus with ventral margin rounded; temple very long, almost 3 × as long as eye (10:4); subocular sulcus absent. Palpal formula 2/2. Propleuron apparently mobile and articulated, hidden under apparent pronotum. Remaining regions of mesosoma completely fused with no sutures separating fused regions; laterally two incomplete sutures visible (suture between apparent pronotum and mesothorax and meso-metapleural suture; sutures incomplete and only partly visible on lateral regions of mesosoma); mesosoma smooth, covered with fine and short setae; mesosoma (Fig. 257B) cylindric and divided into two regions (anterior flat dorsal dull and granulate region (corresponding to pronotum, mesonotum, metanotum and metapectal-propodeal disc) and posterior inclined unsculptured region (corresponding to propodeal declivity and showing few transverse striae near apex); in anterior dorsal region no sutures visible, except suture separating dorsal region from lateral regions (suture incomplete, being absent in anterior third of dorsal region probably corresponding to pronotum); propodeal declivity completely surrounded by strong keel separating it from metapectal-propodeal disc and from lateral regions of mesosoma. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 8:2:1:6:7. Protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Fig. 258D) with one subapical tooth and six bristles. Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 258D) with two rows of 3 (long) + 9 lamellae; apex with four lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
