AERENICINI Lacordaire, 1872
Among the specimens of Cerambycidae collected in our study sites were members of the tribe Aerenicini, which was revised by Martins & Galileo (1998). This revision provides identification keys to genera and species. Aerenicini currently contains 132 species in 26 genera (Monné 2015b). Among the genera of Aerenicini is Aereniphaula, which was described by Galileo & Martins (1990) for a single species, A. machadorum, from Minas Gerais, Brazil (currently the only species described in the genus). Another genus in the tribe, Suipinima, was proposed by Martins & Galileo (2004) in their description of four new species: S. pitanga, S. uma, S. suturalis, S. marginalis . These authors also transferred Antodice eccentrica Galileo & Martins, 1992 to Suipinima . Currently, Suipinima is composed of five species and has a geographical distribution restricted to Bolivia, Brazil, and Ecuador.
