Material examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Iaçu (Hotel Fazenda Monte alto, 12°45’39.4” S 40°13’29” W 245 m s.n.m.), 0 5. XII. 2013, Carvalho, J.R.; Cordeiro D.; Bravo, F.; Nascimento, F.E. leg. (UEFS). This species has a wide distribution in South America: Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay. In Brazil, it was recorded for many locations (Amazonas, Goias, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul). This is the first record for the Caatinga biome.
