2. Cephennomicrus basalis species group
Two species that belong here share an unmodified frons in males; sharply delimited dimerous and strongly flattened antennal club; and a conspicuous form of the aedeagus, which is strongly elongate, with distinctly demarcated short distal portion and has a relatively simple, uncoiled flagellum not accompanied by any sclerites, each paramere bears one short and one long thickened apical or subapical seta. This group includes C. basalis sp. n. and C. proserpinensis sp. n.
