Celaenorrhinus yaojiani Huang & Wu, 2003: 130, pl.VI. fig. 4. (Type locality: Guangxi).
Material examined. Holotype ♂, Beidou, Napo, Guangxi, 22-VI-2000, YAO Jian;
Distribution. China (Guangxi).
Remarks. Huang & Wu (2003) described this species based on a single male specimen from southern part of Guangxi, China. Based on the original description, this species differs from C. kuznetsovi in forewing upperside in having no trace of a basal yellow striping; wings underside with basal yellow striping more or less developed; distance and directions of cell spot and spot in space CuA1; male genitalia (remarkably broader gnathos, valve with distal-doral protection pointed and juxta with lateral arms thinner). We examined the holotype of C. yaojiani (Figs. 25–27). Although we did not examine male genitalia of the holotype, fig. 29 (Huang & Wu, 2003) shows that character in male genitalia is hard to distinguish it from kuznetsovi . Due to remarkable intraspecific variation in kuznetsovi shown above, it is very unlikely to consider yaojiani as a good species, and so we suspect that yaojiani may represent a synonym of kuznetsovi . Examination of additional male and female specimens as well as molecular evidence is necessary to ensure the definitive taxonomic status of this taxon.
