Current status: Lasionota (Lasionota) quadrifasciata Mannerheim, 1837 (Moore & Diéguez 2017).

Comments: It was described by Mannerheim (1837) from “Brasilia; ad Serra da Lapa in provincial Minas Geraïs a D. Ménétriés capta.”. The lectotype housed at the MZHF is labelled as “Brasilia Min. Geraës” (Ménétriés leg.).

Moore & Diéguez (2017) illustrated and designated this type specimen as the lectotype of Lasionota quadrifasciata and redescribed the species from the lectotype.
