Eriophyes altisonorae (Keifer, 1979)

Carex sylvatica Huds.; West Poland, near Mosina, leafy forest; 30.05.1999; leg. A. Skoracka; 18 specimens, vagrants on upper leaf surfaces.

The species so far was recorded in California in basal leaf sheaths of Carex sp. (Keifer 1979).
