Phytoptus aquatilis Roivainen, 1950

Carex acutiformis Ehrh. (new host); West Poland, Poznań, Lasek Marcelinski forest, wet meadow near the forest; 28.05.1999; leg. A. Skoracka, 6 specimens, vagrants on upper leaf surfaces.

The species so far was recorded in Sweden, Hungary and Finland on Carex aquatilis Wahlenb. and C. canescens L. (Roivainen 1950).
