Remarks. This is one of two Okinawan Cephennomicrus species described based on specimens collected not in the northern, but in the southern half of the island (in Chibana), on the southern border of the northern forest. The type series (6 exx.) has been collected by a flight intercept trap. The newly recorded specimens were collected by sifting leaf litter and rotten wood and extraction by Winkler apparatus. The two new records demonstrate that C. disjunctus is distributed also in the northern region.
