General distribution – Australia, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, and United States (Hagstrum et al. 2013).

Collection place(s) – Chinese medicine, dried fruit, dried vegetable, grain (wet), mushroom (decaying), various stored products, putrid potato; honey bee hive, stored rice, rice dust and debris (Mirfakhraii 1994; Modarres Awal 1997; Mosaddegh 1997; Ostovan 1993; Ostovan and Kamali 1995b; Noei 2007; Noei and Ostovan 2012; Hagstrum et al. 2013).
