Discussion. This species is easily recognized by its strongly contrasting color pattern, consisting of a predominantly black head, pronotum and scutellum, and predominantly pale white hemelytra with a broad, black transverse fascia behind the claval apex (Fig. 7). The foreleg possesses five stout spines along its posterior margin (Fig. 9), which are proportionally longer than those present in L. gakalae .
