Leucophenga quadripunctata (de Meijere, 1908)

Diagnosis. Wing R2+3 vein with a short branch subapically (Fig. 2 H); paramere deeply concave mediodorsally (Fig. 24 C). This species is similar to L. cornuta sp. nov. in the wing R2+3 vein with a short branch subapically (see lower that species).
Description. Ocellar triangle brown, with 3–7 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brown. Palpus brownish yellow. Mesonotum nearly yellowish brown, slightly brown before scutellum (Fig. 6 I). Postpronotal lobe yellow (Fig. 6 J). Acrostichal setulae in 13–15 irregular rows (Fig. 6 I). Scutellum yellowish brown, dark brown at tip and pale around apical scutellar setae (Fig. 6 I). Pleura with an unapparent, yellowish brown, longitudinal stripe above (Fig. 6 J). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish (Fig. 6 J). Wing (Fig. 2 H): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 5–8 peglike spinules on ventral surface. Halter slightly brownish apically (Fig. 6 J). Abdominal tergites brown to black, with yellow patches (Fig. 10 I, J). Male terminalia: Epandrium with pubescence near posterior and ventral margins and 6 setae near posterior margin per side (Fig. 24 A). Paramere with pubescence and 4 sensilla subapically (Fig. 24 C). Aedeagus pubescent apically (Fig. 24 D).

BL = 3.90–4.67 mm in ♂, 3.43–4.13 mm in ♀ (range in 5♂ and 4♀), THL = 1.90–2.07 mm in ♂, 1.53–1.97 mm in ♀, WL = 3.00– 3.60 mm in ♂, 2.93–3.57 mm in ♀, WW = 1.42–1.67 mm in ♂, 1.37–1.60 mm in ♀, arb = 6–8/3–4, avd = 0.73–0.96, adf = 1.33–1.94, flw = 1.57–2.00, FW/HW = 0.36–0.40, ch/o = 0.03–0.04, prorb = 0.51–0.75, rcorb = 0.51–0.82, vb = 0.30–0.44, dcl = 0.44–0.60, presctl = 0.49–0.67, sctl = 1.12–1.63, sterno = 0.74–1.00, orbito = 1.64–2.56, dcp = 0.21–0.34, sctlp = 0.97–1.27, C = 1.63–2.06, 4c = 1.41–1.94, 4v = 1.64–2.36, 5x = 0.95–1.37, ac = 2.70–3.44, M = 0.51–0.74, C3F = 0.86–0.92.
