Male description: The externally visible characters of male were similar as female.
Anterior part of 7 th ventrite of male sublaterally with protruding paired truncate processes (Fig 31).
Pygophore with 2 divergent parandria, stubby (Figs. 24, 28).

Remarks. This species closely resembles M. noduliferus, their head and pronotum without erect hairs and pronotum with significantly raised posterolateral tubercle. But M. noduliferus with distinct posteromedial tubercle, can easily be distinguished.
Material examined. Holotype, ♀, China: Yunnan: Near Simao City, alt: 950m, 17.v.1957 ; Paratype, ♀, same data as the holotype .
