90. Polytremis lubricans lubricans (Herrich-Schäffer, 1869)

Polytremis lubricans: Huang et al. 2003: 80 (Tian’e); Wang & Tang 2012: 61 (Mao’ershan); Yuan et al. 2015: 455 (Guangxi) . Polytremis lubricans taiwana: Li 2004: 15 (Guilin); Liang et al. 2011: 1812 (Guilin). Probably misidentification. Distribution in Guangxi. Tian’e, Xing’an (Mao’ershan), Guilin.

Note. The figures in Wang & Tang (2012: pl. 111, figs. 15–16) represent the nominate subspecies. The name Polytremis lubricans taiwana recorded by Li (2004: 15) and Liang et al. (2011: 1812) is now accepted as Polytremis lubricans kuyaniana (Matsumura, 1919) (Hsu 2006: 333), and we assume that the specimens from Guilin should be conspecific with those from Mao’ershan, because the two localities are very close.
