Type material. Holotype. Bolivia: La Paz Department, Murillo (Mecapaca 16°39’51.5”S, 68°00’56.6”W), III.1980, 1M (MCN 25528) . Paratype: La Paz Department, Murillo (Mecapaca 16°39’51.5”S, 68°00’56.6”W), III.1980, 1F (MCN 25528) .
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Males of Euryopis boliviensis n. sp. resemble those of Euryopis nasuta, but E. boliviensis n. sp. differs from E. nasuta in having the apical portion of the conductor with a thin hook-like projection (Fig. 8C), absent in E. nasuta, and by the absence of nose-like projection in the clypeus, present in the latter. Females of the E. boliviensis n. sp. resemble those of E. nasuta, but differ by having the second spermathecae further apart (Figs 9E, F), and closer to each other in the E. nasuta, and by a larger and more sclerotized copulatory opening (Fig. 9E) than in E. nasuta .
