Genus Hsiufuropronia Yang, 1997

Hsiufuropronia Yang, 1997: 101, 102, 104, 105; He et al. 2002: 630; He & Xu 2015: 818, 995. Hisufuropronia Yang, 1997: 102, 105, misspelling, unavailable according to Article 32.2.1 of the Code (ICZN 1999). Type species: Hsiufuropronia chaoi Yang, 1977, by original designation.

Diagnosis. Frons below median ocellus without longitudinal carina. Posterior border of metasomal sternum 5 armed by four spines (tubercles). Slender species: body 6.3 × as long as its maximum metasomal width; metasoma 3.4 × as long as its maximum width. Male unknown.

Species included. Type species only, Hsiufuropronia chaoi Yang, 1977 .

Remarks. In the original description there are two spelling of the genus name: Hsiufuropronia and Hisufuropronia but latter used twice while former was used six times (Yang 1997). The subsequent authors (He et al. 2002, He & Xu 2015) also used the spelling Hsiufuropronia .
