Distribution: —N Pakistan, Jammu & Kashmir, N Hengduan.

Note: —In some locations in the Pan-Himalaya region, this species is growing with Epilobium palustre (Raven 1962a) . Two species are often confused with each other. However, E. minutiflorum can be recognized by its smaller flowers and seeds, and broader serrulate leaves.
