Tribe Sandalodesmini Hoffman, 1982

Diagnosis: Sandalodesmini males are distinguishable by the gonopods notably reduced in size, entire telopodite subequal to or smaller than gonocoxa, presence of a spiniform process on gonocoxa, cannula modified (except in some species of Sandalodesmus), prefemoral process simple, without additional processes, acropodite process forming a broad shield that protect the solenomere, strongly curved and concealing the solenomere (modified from Hoffman 1982).
