Dinotrema plaumanni Peris-Felipo in Peris-Felipo and Belokobylskij 2016b: 7 .
Material examined. 1 female (holotype), Brazil, Nova Teutonia, 27°11’B 52°23’L, 14.vi.1937 (F. Plaumann leg.) [B.M. 1937–656] (BMNH) . 1 female, 1 male (paratypes), same locality as holotype, but 28.viii.1937 and 3.iv.1938 [B.M. 1938–682] (BMNH) .

Comparative diagnosis. This species is similar to D. subbidentatum Peris-Felipo 2016, but differs in having the three teeth of mandible visible in lateral view (only two teeth visible in D. subbidentatum), mandible 1.3 × as long as its maximum width (1.7 × in D. subbidentatum), apical flagellar segments paler than middle segments (same colour in D. subbidentatum), first flagellar segment 3.5 × as long as its maximum width (2.5–3.0 × in D. subbidentatum), eye in lateral view 1.8 × as wide as temple medially (1.3 × in D. subbidentatum), and the first metasomal tergite 3.0 × as long as its apical width (1.4 × in D. subbidentatum).
