Blattantis, subgen. nov.

Etymology. The name refers to the distribution of the species in the center of the High Atlas (Latin: atlas, antis).

Type species. Dziriblatta montana Chopard, 1936b .

Dziriblatta (Blattantis) montana Chopard, 1936b, comb. nov.

Distribution. Morocco, High Atlas south of Marrakech (Figs. 28, 29).

Diagnosis. Easily recognized by the characteristic colour pattern of the tegmina; male T7 very similar as in Discleroblatta, but gland opening more oval, preglandular margin of T7 almost unsclerotized, left paraproct with two spines; female well characterized by the unique shape of the dorsal basivalvular sclerites.
