Discleroblatta, subgen. nov.

Etymology. The name of the subgenus refers to the two (unpleated) scale sclerites in the male genitalia.

Type species. Hololampra merrakescha Adelung, 1914 .

Species. One species.

Dziriblatta (Discleroblatta) merrakescha (Adelung, 1914), comb. nov.

Distribution. In the southwestern corner of Morocco (SW of Marrakech and the river Tensift) (Figs. 28, 30).

Diagnosis. Male characterized by having two ± flat genital scale sclerites and by the shape of the T7 glandular pit forming a rather narrow transversal trough; female genitalia with similarly sized and shaped spermathecal plates as in Monoscleroblatta, but distinguished by separate dorsal basivalvular sclerites.
