Sculptoblatta, subgen. nov.
Etymology. The name refers to the unusually sculptured (from Latin: sculptura) T7 of some more derived species of the subgenus.
Type Species. Dziriblatta nigriventris Chopard, 1936b .

In addition to the three species listed there are several new species to be described in the future.
Distribution. Eastern part of Morocco except southeastern plains (Fig. 28), eastward up to the middle of Algeria, similarly as subgenus Dziriblatta (Fig. 27).
Diagnosis. characterized by the distinctly triangular tegmina with narrowly rounded apex; similarly shaped tegmina also present in Pauciscleroblatta kroumiriensis, which, however, strongly differs in the structure of the male T7 and its gland and in the structure of the female genital sclerites. T7 gland in the majority of the species isolated at the anterior border of T7 (Fig. 9D), surface of T7 often moulded by various kinds of processes.
