Remarks. When established this subgenus, three species of M. bucharicus, M. confirmata and M. ehsani were included in the taxon. But the type species, M. bucharicus, bears a genitalia complex distinguished from the remain- der ones and the form of it is very similar to the species of Eumodicogryllus, which was arranged as a subgenus of Modicogryllus (Gorochov, 1986) and was subsequently upgraded to a genus (Defaut, 2001). According to the features of the genitalia of M. confirmatus and M. ehsani, we considered that the total of nine species as listed above should be arranged into this subgenus.
