Traulia lanceolata Willemse, 1921: 29, 36 (syntypes—male and female, “Celebes, Manado” [=Sulavesi: North SulaWesi province, Manado City]; deposited in Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Leiden). Synonymized by Willemse (1957).

Material examined. Indonesia: Sulawesi Island, province Sulawesi Utara [= North Sulawesi province], Tangkoko National Park, 10 km NE of Madano City on eastern cost of Minahassa, env. of Tangkoko Londge, 3–6 February 2011, 2 males, coll. A.V. Gorochov; same province, Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, near village Toraut (not far of town Doloduo), env. of Wallance Base Camp, 17–25 January 2011, 1 male, coll. A.V. Gorochov (ZISP) .

Notes. Studied specimens (Figs. 1–3) were collected not far from the type locality and completely agree with the original description of Traulia lanceolata (Willemse, 1921), which is considered as synonym of Mesambria maculipes (Willemse, 1957) . Male genitalia of this species are described and illustrated below for the first time.

Description of male genitalia. Epiphallus bridge-shaped; bridge broad and completely divided; ancorae long, weakly incurved; anterior projections pointed; posterior projections triangular rounded; lophi of epiphallus great, eXtending, with enlarged and broadly rounded outer and very small inner lophi; oval sclerites narrowly elongated (Fig. 4). Cingulum sclerotised, consisting of broad apodemes, Zygoma, and rami; Zygoma triangular projecting apically, covering the arch of cingulum (Fig. 5). Valves of cingulum divided (Fig. 5), apically long and strongly upcurved (Fig. 6). Apical valves of penis with pointed apeX, considerably shorter than cingular valves; basal and apical penis valves connected by a strongly curved, unbroken fleXure (Fig. 6).

Distribution. Indonesia: Sulawesi Island (North Sulawesi province).
