Type species: Acridium flavoannulatum Stål, 1861, by subsequent designation (Kirby, 1910).

Composition. There are 54 species distributed in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan and Japan (Ryukyu Islands), i.e. in the Oriental region (Cigliano et al., 2018).

Notes. Male genitalia of the type species of this genus are described and illustrated here for the first time.
