Syarinus obscurus (Banks, 1893)

Material examined. Canada, Yukon Territory, Grey Mountain, 9 August 1996, leg. W. Breuss, det. V. Mahnert: 1 male, deposited in MHNG.

Supplementary description. Segments X–XI well developed and normal in size. Sternite IV with two well defined cribrate areas.

Cheliceral galea short, simple; dental row ending level with subgaleal seta, this 0.84 from base (Fig. 32).

Pedipalpal coxa with apex rounded, with 2 setae (Fig. 30). Chelal feather-shaped setae absent.

Legs. Femur-patella junction of leg IV perpendicular, patella distinctly longer than the femur. Tarsi terminate in sub-right angle, not tapering distally; subterminal seta acuminate.
