Morphological characters. Gena with setulae only black. Proepisternum bare. Body length 5–10 mm. Geographical distribution. Australia (New South Wales)—AUSTRALASIAN/OCEANIAN. Biology. Sarcophaga arachnivora has been reared from egg sacs of the spider Dicrostichus magnificus (Cantrell 1986; Lopes 1985).
