Helicopsyche bacescui. Diagnosis. Posterodorsally, the head capsule has 5 additional setae per side, arranged in a row, in addition to the 17 pairs of primary setae of the dorsal head capsule (Figs. 30, 31). The propleuron in lateral view has a sharply-angled dorsal outline; its anterior process is cuneiform, straight dorsally and strongly tapering (Fig. 32). The submentum is broadly triangular, with a rounded posterior tip (Fig. 33). The larva was described in detail by Botosaneanu (1956).
