Material examined. Holotype (MNHN 6118) and 8 paratypes (MNHN 6117). 1 specimen from Vanuatu, 10 specimens in 3 lots from the Philippines, 3 specimens in 2 lots from the Solomon Islands.
Distribution. Previously known only from New Caledonia (210–580 m: Sirenko 2001). Now also known from Vanuatu (800 m), the Philippines (583 m, 989 m and 1762 m) and Solomon Islands (1000–1118 m). The new records expand the geographic and bathymetric range for this species. Found living and feeding on sunken terrestrial plant remains.
