1. Parena cavipennis species group

Only one species is included in this species group, which is widely distributed in East Asia (Map 2). This species group is characterized by: dorsal surface entirely yellowish brown; elytral striae well incised, intervals slightly convex; elytral sutural angles faintly pointed, outer apical angles rounded; apical lamella as long as wide (LL = LW).
