Distribution: South Africa: Gauteng (Philips & Scholtz, 2000), new provincial records for North West and KwaZulu-Natal.

Biological note. The adult specimen from the North West Province was collected in a nest of Pheidole tenuinodis Mayr, 1901 ( Hymenoptera: Formicidae: Myrmicinae) ants under a rock in open field. Similarly, the specimen from KwaZulu-Natal was also collected from the nests of myrmicine ants (genus unknown) under a stone.
