Described from Tanzania and further reported from Kenya, Zaire and Madagascar. Dr. Ebejer has compared the specimen from Samaru listed below with the holotype and found it to compare perfectly.

Of Decary’s Madagascan material only a single female was correctly identified, the remainder standing under lugens and fossulatus .
