Andronymus helles Evans, 1937

This species, the smallest of the group, was described from Cameroon (Evans 1937) and is found from Sierra Leone to western Tanzania (Evans 1937, Kielland 1990, Larsen 2005). Vuattoux reared at least one specimen of this species from Anthonotha sp., but MJWC misidentified Vuattoux’s specimen as Andronymus hero, under which name this food plant record was published (Vuattoux 1999) – see discussion of food plants under A. hero .
