Material

Holotype male, Panama, C. Z., Barro Colo. Id, July 1942, flws of Anthurium denudatum, Zetek no. 4982 (USNM ­ 26­60).

Natural history

The holotype and 16 male paratypes were caught at flowers of Anthurium denudatum (Araceae) (Borgmeier, 1967) . I have a specimen reared from the rotting spadix of Carludovica palmata Ruíz & Pavón (Cyclanthaceae) in Panama.
