Type locality: Madagascar, coll. Sikora.

Remarks: Franz Sikora mainly collected around the capital, Antananarivo, with a shorter, later stay in Fort Dauphin (Tolagnaro, southeast Madagascar). As the holotype of P. sakalava is female, the collection of a male will be necessary to ascertain the status and generic assignment of the species.
