Psechrus luangprabang Jäger 2007: 45, figs 48–53, 68–72 (Description & illustration of ♂ and ♀). Bayer & Jäger 2010: 72. Bayer 2012: 83, figs 43a–d, 44a–e, 45a–e, 81d, 83b, 85l, 88m, 91m, 93a (Description & illustration of ♂ and ♀).

Material examined (1 ♀): LAOS: Bokeo Prov.: Nam Khan NBCA (national biodiversity conservation area), Ban Na Luang, 20°21'71.7''N, 100°41'34.9''E, 499 m, disturbed primary forest, P. Jäger leg. by day, by hand, 10.VI.2013, ♀ (SB 1268), SMF 64088.

Remarks. According to its colouration, measurements and the structure of its copulatory organ (here not illustrated) the female listed above ranges among the females examined in Bayer (2012). It belongs to a colouration-variant having the dark median bands on the carapace so strongly serrated that dark extensions connect them with the lateral bands on the carapace. The anterior part of the epigyne of SB 1268 corresponds to that of the female illustrated in Bayer (2012: p. 87, fig. 45a), whereas the central and posterior parts correspond to that of the female paratype SB 1034 (Bayer 2012: p. 86, fig. 44a). The vulva of SB 1268 corresponds to that of the female illustrated in Bayer (2012: p. 87, fig. 45b). This is the first record from Bokeo Province, Laos and is, to date, the westernmost record of this species. As the locality is just ca. 30 km away from the border, it is possible that this species also occurs in Thailand.

Distribution. Laos (Fig. 34).
