Material examined. AUSTRALIA: WESTERN AUSTRALIA. Bundegi Reef near Pont Murat, Exmouth Gulf, 21º 49’S 113º 11’E, small octocorals, 9 m, R. T. Springthorpe coll., 4 January 1984, AM W26735, 1 specimen.

Ecology. Associated with gorgonaceans and other octocorals (Glasby & Watson, 2001). Distribution. Australia (Northern, Eastern and Western coasts), Papua New Guinea.
