Munidopsis geyeri Pequegnat & Pequegnat, 1970
Munidopsis geyeri has been reported from the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 2650 to 4151 m (Pequegnat & Pequegnat 1970; Gore 1983; Macpherson & Segonzac 2005). Twelve specimens from the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico were measured; these specimens were collected in June, July, August, and December (Fig. 12 H) in depths of 2651 to 4151 m. Six non-ovigerous females (CW from 2.5 to 20.0 mm) and five males (CW from 4.4 to 26.8 mm) were measured; no ovigerous specimens were available for analysis. Males and females were not significantly different in size (t-test, df = 9, t = -1.023, p = 0.333).
