Material examined. OLH, 2 spcs, H = 3–4 mm, IVICCM000133. OLH, 2 spcs, H = 2–3 mm, ZMBN 84905.

Ecology. Shallow mangrove lagoon (1–2 m deep) with soft bottom and brown and green algae including the calcareous Halimeda spp.

Distribucion. Venezuela.

Remarks. So far only known from Venezuela (type locality: Buche).
