Specimens examined: five females, two males, coll. J. Etienne, Petit Bourg, Duclos, Guadeloupe, 18 May 2001, on leaves of Desmodium tortuosum (Leguminosae) .

This species is common in the Caribbean area. When alive, the mites are green and were observed on the lower leaf surface, in small numbers.
