Comments

Coccobius curtifuniculatus resembles C. popei (Girault), but differs from the latter in having the scutellum with two pairs of setae; fore wing with submarginal vein bearing six setae and marginal vein eight setae. In C. popei, the scutellum bears six setae; the submarginal and marginal veins have 10 and 13–14 setae, respectively.

Coccobius curtifuniculatus is also similar to Coccobius indefinitus (Yasnosh & Myartseva), but differs in having F1 distinctly shorter and nearly quadrate.
